Close the KDSS valves after suspension work

DIFFICULTY 2 / 5TIME ≈ 15 minutesCOST Free

Symptoms

Alarming body roll on uneven roads, or a truck that feels wrong right after a lift or shock install.

The fix, step by step

  1. Chock the wheels and get under the truck.
  2. The two KDSS valves are opened during suspension work and must be closed again afterward.
  3. Find both valves and confirm they're closed with a 5 mm hex key.
  4. If anyone has worked on the suspension, check them before your next drive.
