Symptoms
A hum or grinding that rises with road speed, vibration through the wheel, or an ABS light.
The fix, step by step
- The Y62's front bearing comes as a hub assembly with the bearing pre-greased and the ABS speed sensor attached.
- Patrolapart's unit fits either side.
- Remove the wheel, caliper and rotor and the axle nut, unplug the ABS sensor, unbolt the hub from the knuckle and fit the new assembly.
- Torque the hub bolts and axle nut to the manual.
