The fix, step by step
- Mount the cooler core ahead of the radiator using the kit's brackets, route the supplied hoses into the transmission cooler circuit, and clamp everything clear of the fan and exhaust.
- Top up the fluid afterwards.
- The kit's maker suggests adding about 1 L of full-synthetic fluid.
- Run the engine, check for leaks and recheck the level.
