Symptoms
Bigger tires rub on one side but clear on the other, with the same wheels and offset on both sides.
The fix, step by step
- On the INEOS Forum, a shop found one truck's body sitting off-center on the chassis.
- Slackening the body mount bolts, re-centering the body and re-tightening fixed the rub.
- Measure fender-to-tire gaps on both sides before you blame the tire, and torque the body mounts to factory spec.
