Symptoms
Exterior door button stays pressed in, door doesn't fully latch, or the head unit shows a door-open warning that turns red with chimes once you're moving.
The fix, step by step
- Ineos found the door button mechanisms on 7,022 US 2024 Grenadiers (built July 6, 2023 to April 19, 2024) may lack grease.
- Dealers replace the door button assemblies.
- Until then, check every door is fully shut before driving and take the head unit warning seriously.
