Fluids, capacities & service intervals

Assume nothing was done early: the factory schedule is long (12 months / 12,000 miles in the US), the full service manual isn't sold to owners, and only dealers can reset the service counter. Baseline every fluid once, keep receipts with OEM-spec fluids to protect the 5-year warranty, and note that much of the drivetrain is shared with BMW (B58/B57 engines, ZF 8-speed), so FCP Euro and other BMW specialists carry many of the consumables. On a Quartermaster that has worked hard (towing, a camper or tray load), treat it as arduous use and shorten every interval.
