Symptoms
The four lashing eyes aren't enough for bikes, boxes or a drawer system.
The fix, step by step
- One owner's dealer fitted L-track on the bed floor and sides, which held a cargo bike sideways.
- The upper bed rails are held with plastic pop rivets on 8-inch centres.
- Another owner expects O-track to fit but says it may need shimming because the trim is recessed.
- On trucks without the rails fitted, drill, countersink and seal every hole.
