An overdue service. Old oil breaks down and collects condensation, and water in the diffs or transfer case destroys bearings.
The fix, step by step
- Drain and refill the front differential, rear differential and transfer case from their drain and fill plugs, using new plugs.
- Atlantic British recommends doing this every 60,000 miles.
