The fix, step by step
- Enter the VIN at lexus.com/recall or nhtsa.gov/recalls.
- Under 24V-381, Toyota replaces the engine at no cost.
- Under 25V-767, NHTSA's record now says dealers inspect the No. 1 main bearing using inspection software and drive data and replace the engine if necessary; owner letters were mailed August 28, 2026.
- Keep every piece of paperwork.
