The fix, step by step

- That covered the differential gear oil, a transmission fluid exchange and the transfer case, plus greasing the driveline zerks.
- Their wear-metal results were reassuring.
- Another owner reports Red Line 75W-85 working fine in the front diff.
- Remove the skid plates for access, and follow the factory manual's fluid specs and fill levels.
