Bigger tires on aftermarket wheels

DIFFICULTY 2 / 5TIME ≈ 1–2 hoursCOST Wheels and tires

Symptoms

Not a fault. The factory 22s limit you to low-profile tires that dislike rocks.

The fix, step by step

  1. Owners report running 275/55R20 and 285/55R20 on 30-offset Vossen 20s without rubbing, 275/60R20 (about 33 in) on aftermarket 20s, and 275/70R18 on Toyota TRD 18s.
  2. One dealer forced 285/50R22 A/Ts onto factory wheels, but it took cutting and spacers.
