The fix, step by step
- Many owners change the factory fill early, around 1,000 miles, and send a sample to a lab such as Blackstone.
- One owner found heavy machining debris in a 2024 GX's oil at 800 miles and much less in a December 2024-build LX at 1,000 miles.
- Others report high iron and copper at the first change that settled to normal by the third.
- Repeat the analysis every few changes and keep the reports.
