The fix, step by step
- With the engine warm, pull all six plugs, disable the ignition, hold the throttle open and crank each cylinder for the same number of strokes.
- Corsetti's guide for a healthy 2F is 160–165 psi, with caution under 120 and walk away under 100.
- Readings should be within 10 percent of each other.
- Significant wear usually means valves, seats and rings, so a full rebuild.
