Fit 35s to a non-Sasquatch Bronco

DIFFICULTY 3 / 5TIME A weekend with a level kitCOST Wheels, tires and a level kit; regearing extra

Symptoms

You want 35s, but your truck has +55 mm wheels and stock height.

The fix, step by step

  1. Performance Plus Tire's guide splits it by tire width.
  2. A 285/75R17 (about 33.8 in) fits stock wheels and suspension without rubbing.
  3. Narrow 35s (35x10.50R17 or 35x11.50R17) fit factory 17-inch wheels once the front crash bars come off, usually with a small 1.25–1.5-inch level.
  4. Full-width 35x12.50R17s need about +30 mm wheels, high-clearance flares and roughly 1.5–2 inches of lift.
  5. Afterwards, recalibrate the speedometer (35s read about 7% slow) and get an alignment.
  6. Regearing is optional: the Sasquatch uses 4.7s, and the guide says 4.46s work fine for many owners.
