Fluids, capacities & service intervals

Most LX 470s on the market are past at least one 90k service interval, so verify or do the timing belt first. Then flush the AHC fluid, which most owners have never done, and baseline every gear oil. Slee notes the major specs changed in 2003–2004 (five-speed, WS fluid, long-life coolant), so check which side of the line your truck falls on.
