G55 AMG biggest tire size: stock and lifted
The biggest tire owners run on a Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG at every lift height, with the trimming it takes, the wheel specs you need and the lift kits that get you there.
About 33 inches on 18-inch wheels. Owners of unlifted W463s on Expedition Portal run 275/70R18 with no rubbing on sensible offsets, and 285/65R18 with a slight rub at full left lock. Fitment data lists 285/55R18 for 2004 and 2008 US G 55s, so 18s clear those brakes. One owner warns 18s won't clear G 63 brakes, so test-fit before buying 18s for a 19-inch 2009–2011 truck. Re-code the tire size so the speedometer and ESP stay accurate.
