Symptoms
Oil seeping from the sump, valve cover or exhaust manifold. One BaT truck had the oil pan, valve cover and exhaust manifold gaskets replaced, plus a coolant reservoir hose.
The fix, step by step
- Clean the engine, find each leak and replace the gaskets.
- Because the 15B is a light-truck diesel, a Toyota truck dealer may be able to source engine gaskets more easily than body parts.
