Range Rover L405 biggest tire size: stock and lifted
The biggest tire owners run on a Land Rover Range Rover L405 at every lift height, with the trimming it takes, the wheel specs you need and the lift kits that get you there.
On 20-inch wheels, the FullFatRR consensus is 285/50R20 (about 31.2 in). Two owners run them, one calls them probably the largest that won't rub in any height mode, and the spare still fits the well. 275/55R20 (about 31.9 in) is also fitted by 'quite a few' owners, though one member predicted it might just catch at full lock. Twenty inches is the smallest rim owners trust to clear the brakes, and 255/60R20 tyres on new-Defender wheels also fit. Want bigger? Lucky8 has a video on trimming the bumper for larger tyres on its lifted Project L405.
