Land Cruiser FJ62 biggest tire size: stock and lifted
The biggest tire owners run on a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 at every lift height, with the trimming it takes, the wheel specs you need and the lift kits that get you there.
On a stock FJ62, one IH8MUD member runs 33x9.50s with no problems. 33x10.50 might fit, but 33x12.50s won't without a lift. Many owners choose 31x10.50R15, which looks right at stock height or on an OME lift. Corsetti says not to go wider than 10.5 in or taller than 33 in on a factory rim, and Cruiser Corps advises against tires wider than 10.5 in on the 15x5.5 OEM steel wheel.
Biggest Land Cruiser FJ62 tire at every lift
| LIFT | BIGGEST TIRE | WHAT IT TAKES |
|---|---|---|
| Stock | 33x9.50R15 | An IH8MUD owner runs them with no problems. 31x10.50R15 is the common choice and looks right at stock height; 33x12.50s won't fit without a lift. |
| 2.5 in (OME) | 33x10.50R15 | Corsetti's FJ62 setup with an OME steering damper. Corsetti says don't go wider than 10.5 in or taller than 33 in on a factory rim. |
| 2.5 in + 2 in body lift | 35 in | 35s rub on a 2.5-inch OME kit alone. Owners say the A440F auto and stock gears struggle with 35s. |
