Land Cruiser FJ60 biggest tire size: stock and lifted

The biggest tire owners run on a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 at every lift height, with the trimming it takes, the wheel specs you need and the lift kits that get you there.

The short answer

33x9.50 fits on stock suspension; one IH8MUD member runs them on a stock FJ62 with 240,000 miles. 33x10.50 might fit, but 33x12.50s won't without a lift: one '87 FJ60 on a 2.5-inch BDS lift still rubbed its inner wheel wells at full stuff. Corsetti runs 31x10.50R15s on stock springs and says not to go wider than 10.5 in or taller than 33 in on a factory rim; Cruiser Corps also advises against tires wider than 10.5 in on the 15x5.5 OEM steel wheel.
