Fluids, capacities & service intervals

The 4×4² shares its engine, gearbox and lockers with the 2016–2018 G 550, so the drivetrain basics are the same — but the portal axles add hub reduction gears that a regular G doesn’t have, and many shops have never serviced one. Baseline everything, and confirm portal-axle specs with a Mercedes dealer.
