Nissan Patrol MQ (160) biggest tire size: stock and lifted

The biggest tire owners run on a Nissan Patrol 160 / MQ at every lift height, with the trimming it takes, the wheel specs you need and the lift kits that get you there.

The short answer

About 31x10.50. In an ExplorOz thread, an owner on stock, saggy springs was running 31x10.5s, and another suggested 32x11.5s might fit once springs were reset. The consensus for 33s is a 2-inch spring lift. For 35s, owners add a 2-inch body lift, and 38s took a 3-inch body lift with longer shackles. MQs don't have much wheel travel, so guard clearance is tight but workable.

Fresh 2-inch springs and shocks fix sag and clear 33s. Owners recommend lift springs over resetting tired originals, and over shackle extensions on road trucks.
