Fluids, capacities & service intervals

Baseline everything, then deal with the TJ-specific items: crawl under it with a hammer and light to check the frame, listen for the OPDA on a 2005–06 4.0, and confirm which gearbox, transfer case and rear axle you have. Coolant and automatic-fluid specs changed during the run, so check the owner's manual or the labels on your truck before you buy fluids.
