W463 G-Wagon biggest tire size: stock and lifted
The biggest tire owners run on a Mercedes-Benz G-Class W463 at every lift height, with the trimming it takes, the wheel specs you need and the lift kits that get you there.
About 33 inches. Expedition Portal owners report a 275/70R18 on an unlifted G 500 and a 285/65R18 with only a slight rub at full left lock. One owner says he has run 315/75R16s on his G 500 for nearly a decade with no lift and no rubbing, but that's an outlier. Wheel offset matters: one owner's rubbing went away when he swapped ET63 wheels for ET43 G 550 wheels, while another says ET63 wheels tuck the rear tires better on 35s. JWO designed its 4-inch springs specifically to clear tires bigger than 33 inches.
