Delica Space Gear biggest tire size: stock and lifted
The biggest tire owners run on a Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear at every lift height, with the trimming it takes, the wheel specs you need and the lift kits that get you there.
Not much bigger than stock. Japanese 4WD vans came on 225/80R15s, which are about 29 inches, on 15x6 wheels with about 4.25 inches of backspacing. A long-time Delica Canada member says 245/75R16 may fit unlifted, but only with a lot of trimming, and you'll need a lift to clear the wheel wells at full articulation. Even with a 2-inch lift, owners report 31x10.5s rubbing on compression in turns after trimming. One said he should have gone with 30s.

Torsion-bar adjustment plus rear spacers or stiffer coils gives about 2 inches; bigger lifts need spindle work. Budget for ball joints and an alignment.
