PM sensor for P24C6 / P24C7

DIFFICULTY 2 / 5TIME ≈ 1 hourCOST Price of the sensor

Symptoms

Engine light after cold starts, codes P24C6/P24C7 (particulate matter sensor temperature circuit), and regenerations every 100 miles or so.

The fix, step by step

  1. One owner of a 2022 D250 replaced the PM temperature sensor, the last sensor in the exhaust after the DPF.
  2. After a week of cold starts and about 150 miles the light hadn't returned and short-trip regenerations stopped.
  3. Clear the codes afterwards.
