Fluids, capacities & service intervals
Most JKs have been lifted, re-tired or wheeled, so baseline the drivetrain fluids and the front end first. On a 2012–18 Pentastar, look into the engine valley for oil-filter-housing leaks before you do anything else. Buy by engine and year: the filter, plugs, thermostat housing and coolant type all changed during the run.
