Fluids, capacities & service intervals

With no receipts, assume nothing has been done. Change every fluid, and know which engine you have: the 3.8 (2007–2011) and the Pentastar (2012–2018) use different filters, plugs and automatic transmissions. Check the Pentastar's oil filter housing for leaks at the first oil change. Then do the gear oil, which is the service owners skip most. Rubicons and trucks with Trac-Lok need the right axle oil, and a limited-slip axle needs friction modifier.
