Fluids, capacities & service intervals
Assume nothing has been done. These trucks are 35 to 50 years old, and most have had several owners and swaps. Before you buy fluids, identify the engine, transmission, transfer case and axles, since they changed every few years. Pull the steering box and look at the frame while you're under there. Capacities vary by drivetrain, so check them in the factory manual.
