Fluids, capacities & service intervals

Assume nothing on a 35-plus-year-old truck: baseline every fluid, filter and wear item the day you buy it, then keep records. Factory capacities and fluid grades for the N60 aren't reliably published online. Figures marked AMSOIL come from AMSOIL's application guide for the 1987 22R-E, and plug data from Denso's catalogue; check those and anything still marked below against the owner's or factory service manual, and know which hubs and axle you have before ordering parts.
